TRAINING IN THE USE OF DEFRIBILLATORS
Prompt use of defibrillators can increase survival rates to over 50% in cases of cardiac arrest. There are over 100,000 defribillator machines now available around the country but most of us would not know how to use them. St John Ambulance are running a free 1 hour training session hosted by St Matthew’s RC church, 32 Hallowell Road, Northwood. If you are interested, please contact Terry—TP.Sullivan@outlook.com. Meeting at the Woodland Centre, next to the cafe by the beach at Ruislip Lido, come and join Ruislip Woods Trust on a bat walk. Cash donation £3 - for the loan of the bat detectors. Payable on the night. NB: If it rains within 2 hours of the start time the walk won't take place as the bats will not come out.

A family event where you can drop in and see the exhibits displayed by our local members. These include flowers, fruit and vegetables they have grown, baking, handicrafts, photography and entries from children.
