Monday October 21, 8:15 pm
St Martin’s Church Hall
The ancient parish of Ruislip (which included Northwood and Eastcote) was first documented in the Domesday Book. The Society exists to encourage interest in the history and conservation of this area and the study of local history generally. We hold meetings with illustrated talks on varied topics of local and wider interest, usually on the third Monday of each month from September to April. During the summer months we organise walks and visits exploring history in and around London.
Our lecture series for this autumn continues with a presentation on life in the Medieval Manor of Ruislip by the RNELHS Medieval Research Group. The meeting includes our AGM.
