Ruislip, Northwood and Eastcote Local History Society
The ancient parish of Ruislip (which included Northwood and Eastcote) was first documented in the Domesday Book. The Society exists to encourage interest in the history and conservation of this area and the study of local history generally. Christmas Concert
Eastcote and Ruislip Choral Society Our Christmas concert is on 14th December at 3.30pm, followed by tea. It features Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols and traditional carols for all. Tickets are £12 at the door, or from a member of the choir. ERCS is a friendly choir and we welcome new singers. Ruislip, Northwood and Eastcote Local History Society
Due to the COVID-19 situation, it is anticipated that all our meetings this autumn will have to be held virtually via Zoom. The on-line meeting will start at 8 pm on 16th November with talk on "Construction-based archaeology in the Colne Valley area" by Emma Tetlow who is an Archaeological Consultant .
