Doors to Manual. The history of passenger flight. A talk by Roger Medham.
Wednesday, March 11 @ 1:45 pm - 3:00 pm

Doors to Manual takes a passenger’s perspective to the history of flying from the first passenger flight in 1919, to today’s economy flights. Central to the story are the cabin crew, qualification requirements and how these changed over time, uniforms designed by the world’s fashion houses, and the food and drink. There was a time when one would dress for dinner!! This will be a fascinating insight into the history of aviation augmented by wonderful illustrations.
