Over Christmas and New Year, there are some planned works and service changes on Metropolitan line. Timetables may change across the TfL network between Christmas Eve and Monday 3 January, so check before you travel.

On Christmas Day, there will be no service on the Tube and rail network. The only transport running on Christmas Day will be taxi and private hire services, Santander Cycles, e-scooters, coaches and Dial-a-Ride (for registered members only).

On Boxing Day and Sunday 27 December, there will be no service between Aldgate and Wembley Park. Rail replacement buses will run between Stonebridge Park and Willesden Green, calling at Wembley Park.

On Sunday 12 December until 11:00, there will be no service between Wembley Park and Willesden Green on the Jubilee line, and between Wembley Park and Aldgate on the Metropolitan line.

Rail replacement buses will run between Willesden Green and Stonebridge Park (Bakerloo line/London Overground), calling at Dollis Hill, Neasden and Wembley Park (northbound Metropolitan and Jubilee lines).

This is due to emergency works in preparation for a planned closure in the same area on Boxing Day and Monday 27 December. For full information on services over the festive period, please visit our Christmas travel page.

We have been advised by Network Rail that last Wednesday 17^th November, there was a strike to the Network Rail Chiltern Line Bridge, where it passes over Breakspear Road South.  The bridge was struck by a Heavy Goods Vehicle approaching from the south.

Network Rail has advised that they will use their emergency powers to close Breakspear Road South tomorrow 25 November from Breakspear Arms to Swakeleys Road.  The closure will last for 7 days during which they will carry out the necessary examination and repairs.

The HGV was not undertaking HS2 related works.  Please note that this road closure will affect the current Celandine Way diversion as this route passes under the Chiltern Line Bridge. We may need to close this diversion for safety reasons.
