SUMMARY:Field End Photographic Society Start of New Season
DESCRIPTION:Field End Photographic Society (FEPS) is based in North West London\, meeting at the Methodist Church Hall\, in Ruislip\, from 8:00pm to 10:00pm on Wednesday evenings; between the start of September and the end of June. \nFEPS organizes an annual programme which covers competitions in prints\, and pdi format; visiting speakers; presentations by members; small station workshops; social events. There is also a teaching / development theme for each season to encourage members to hone their skills and broaden their experiences. A two week annual exhibition is held in a local venue\, usually in May. \nFEPS competes in external competitions organized by the North West Federation of London Camera Clubs\, and the Chiltern Association of Camera Clubs. Successes in the CACC competitions have resulted in FEPS being one of two Clubs to represent them in the PAGB NATIONAL PRINT CHAMPIONSHIPS in 2018 and in 2019. Two prints\, “Artist’s Muse” and “Knock Out” by Dominic Beaven were selected for the Judges Awards in the CACC Championships; and “Angelic Urchin” by Belinda Ewart won the Silver Medal in the Chiltern Hundred Championship. \nNew members are always welcome to join us.
