DESCRIPTION:For the final meeting of our 2023-2024 season of lectures we are pleased to welcome Chris Hillier who will talk on “Rickmansworth – Hertfordshire’s Industrial Heartland?”. The story of how Walkers of Rickmansworth went from a builders merchant via boat builder to the leisure industry\, and their contribution to the industrial history of the Colne valley.\nVisitors are welcome (£3 donation).
