SUMMARY:MICHAEL SOBELL HOSPICE INPATIENT UNIT TO REOPEN
DESCRIPTION:The great news that many local people have wanted to hear has finally been announced – the Michael Sobell Hospice (MSH) Inpatient Unit will reopen on Saturday 14th December 2019. \nThe grand opening will give MSH supporters\, volunteers and the wider local community an opportunity to have a look around the newly refurbished facility before it opens its doors to patients the following week. \nCommenting on the opening\, Michael Sobell Hospice Charity Chair of Trustees\, Michael Breen\, said: “The new team of Trustees and I have worked tirelessly\, alongside many others\, towards this day and we are absolutely “over the moon” that we can now let the community know the service will be here to serve them. This is the start of a new journey for Michael Sobell Hospice Charity and the new team of Trustees\, and we hope the community will re-engage and support our efforts to fundraise for the future. \nFree parking will be available on the day in car parks F and B\, via Gate 3 off White Hill\n(WD3 1PZ). SUMMARY:Christmas Concert
DESCRIPTION:Eastcote and Ruislip Choral Society\nOur Christmas concert is on 14th December at 3.30pm\, followed by tea.\nIt features Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols and traditional carols for all. \nTickets are £12 at the door\, or from a member of the choir. \n  \nERCS is a friendly choir and we welcome new singers. We sing the established repertoire\, and also secular and show music\, sometimes with orchestra and professional soloists.\nWe rehearse on Tuesdays (in term time) 8.00-10.00pm at Ruislip Methodist Church\, Ickenham Rd.\, Ruislip\, HA4 7BZ\nWe are performing Handel’s Messiah with the Hertfordshire Chamber Orchestra\, on 28th March 2020.
