DESCRIPTION:The Festival Fortnight\, runs for two weeks with different type of events running through the Regional Park\, giving the local community opportunity to explore many of their local gems and connect with their countryside. This year we are partnering up with volunteer groups\, local authorities\, organisation and charities in the Colne Valley Park\, with different types of events\, and to highlight all the amazing things the regional park has to offer; Guided Walks\, Talks\, Activities for Children and Families\, Open Days\, Exhibitions and more. \nClick here to see this years programme. SUMMARY:Guided bat walk
DESCRIPTION:Join Ruislip Woods Trust for a guided evening walk around the Lido in Ruislip Woods and hopefully see some bats. \nLocation: MEET INSIDE THE WOODLAND CENTRE BY THE BEACH AT RUISLIP LIDO \nPlease bring a torch.\nIf you have a bat detector\, please bring it with you.\nAiming to start at 9:00pm the walk should finish around 10:30pm. \nWeather permitting: The walk will not take place if it has rained within 2 hours of the start as the bats will not come out.\nCheck Twitter for updates @RuislipWoods\nRuislip Lido Car Park closes at 8pm. Alternative parking should be used on the night.
