DESCRIPTION:To coincide with this year’s Repair Week (Monday 14 to 20 March)\nwe are holding a free event\, \nJoin us in The Great Barn to learn tips and tricks from council teams and local groups. \nDr Bike\nGet a free basic bike repair. We will check your bike\, give you advice\, make minor adjustments and fit some basic replacement parts if we have them. \nRoadshow team\nOur recycling team will be on hand to answer any recycling questions you may have and provide information on how to recycle in the borough. \nHillingdon Friends of the Earth and The Restart Project\nBring along 1 or 2 small electrical items to be repaired on site\, or receive information on parts needed to make your electrical item work again \nTraid\nOur textiles partner\, TRAID\, will be holding small workshops on how to repair textiles to extend their life\, including sewing buttons back onto clothes\, repairing holes\, patching and alterations.\nTRAID will also be collecting textiles and small electricals on the day for anyone wanting to recycle these items. \nThere’s no need to book; just come along on the day.

DESCRIPTION:Eastcote Horticultural Society is pleased to announce the Spring Show will be held on Saturday 12 March and is open to the public from 2.30 – 4.30pm\, free of charge. \nThe Worshipful the Mayor of Hillingdon\, Councillor Roy Chamdal will be joining us during the afternoon. \nThere will be a range of home made cakes to enjoy and a selection of plants will be on sale. \nThe Show is held in Oak Hall at Eastcote Community Association\, Southbourne Gardens\, near the junction with Oak Grove\, Eastcote.
